Job Description

As an Engineer, Vehicle Safety Control , you will be responsible for overseeing vehicle safety regulations and systems, including:

  • Regulating LTA-authorised vehicle inspection centres to ensure compliance with standards.
  • Monitoring vehicle safety recalls through electronic systems.
  • Overseeing vehicle scrapping centres for proper disposal of de-registered vehicles.
  • Handling feedback related to vehicle safety from the public.

You will also support the development and review of vehicle control systems to enhance safety and roadworthiness.

Qualifications
  • Knowledge in Mechanical, Automotive, Mechatronics, or Electronics Engineering.
  • Experience in regulatory functions is advantageous.
  • Good understanding of vehicle technology and automotive engineering.
  • Ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
