Overview

Stroke Support Station (S3) is a non-profit organization in Singapore dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for stroke survivors and their caregivers. S3 provides programs focused on rehabilitation, empowerment, and community reintegration, with activities, wellness programs, and caregiver support to foster physical, emotional, and social well-being. The organization advocates for stroke awareness and collaborates with healthcare professionals, volunteers, and partners to offer holistic, person-centered care for the stroke recovery journey.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct assessments for clients during admission and periodic reviews
  • Evaluate, plan and conduct rehabilitation programmes for clients
  • Provide individual and group interventions for clients
  • Assist in discharge planning and care planning for clients
  • Participate in case discussions with the care team
  • Assist in the development and review of rehabilitation and wellness programmes for clients
  • Training and supervision of therapy assistants
Qualifications
  • Degree or Diploma in Physiotherapy and registered with AHPC
  • Able to converse in English and other languages (Mandarin, Chinese dialects, Tamil or Malay)
  • Minimum 3 years relevant experience, preferably with 2 years in step-down care outpatient settings
  • Understanding of neurological rehabilitation and musculoskeletal conditions
  • Dynamic and proactive personality with good public relations and communication skills
  • Strong management, analytical and problem-solving skills
