Overview

We are seeking an experienced Cyber Security Specialist to act as the primary subject-matter expert in AI security . You will represent the organization at forums and industry events, providing technical guidance on AI security risks, mitigation strategies, and best practices. The role demands a deep understanding of AI technologies, security principles, and risk management. Success requires collaboration with external partners to drive coordinated approaches to AI security and staying ahead of global trends and regulatory developments

Key Responsibilities

  • Security Assessments - Lead thorough security reviews of AI models, algorithms, and infrastructure—identifying vulnerabilities, developing risk-assessment methodologies, and designing robust architectures with model isolation and access controls.
  • Secure Development Oversight - Guide and mentor teams to implement secure AI development practices and strengthen model resilience against adversarial attacks.
  • Policy & Advisory Development: Lead the creation of technical policies, guidelines, and advisories for the safe use of AI technologies, advising enterprises and infrastructure owners on risk mitigation
  • Cross-functional Integration: Collaborate with diverse teams to embed AI security into broader security strategies and frameworks
  • Strategic Collaboration: Work with external organizations and industry partners to align on AI security best practices and coordinated initiatives .
  • Executive Advice & Thought Leadership: Provide expert counsel to senior stakeholders on AI risk mitigation, security trends, and strategic implications. Represent the organization at conferences and standards committees

Required Experience & Skills

  • Experience : ≥10 years in cybersecurity, including ≥5 years focused on AI/ML security
  • Education : Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field.
  • Technical Knowledge : Deep understanding of neural networks, deep learning, reinforcement learning, and AI security techniques
  • Architecture Skills : Knowledge of software, system, and network architecture.
  • Knowledge of Standards : Familiarity with AI security frameworks (e.g., OWASP AI Top 10, MITRE ATLAS/AI RMF)
  • Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, OSCP.
  • Hands-on experience with AI security tools and testing (e.g., adversarial robustness, threat modeling).
  • Familiarity with DevOps/DevSecOps pipelines and cloud security.
  • Participation in industry standards or research initiatives related to AI security.
