Overview

Join to apply for the Network Engineer role at LPS . Full-time role located near Labrador Park MRT Station, Singapore. Working hours: Mon–Fri 9am–6pm, with onsite standby support as needed.

Responsibilities
  • Possess good experience for providing L1 support and maintenance of critical IT network infrastructure.
  • Hands-on experience with network and security devices such as Firewall (Checkpoint and Palo Alto), F5 Load Balancer, Cisco Routers (2800 series), Cisco Catalyst switches (3700, 4500 series), Alcatel-Lucent OmniSwitch (6850, 9000 series), Aruba ClearPass.
  • Responsible for day-to-day operations and administration on network security infrastructure.
  • Perform installation, configuration, and maintenance of network equipment and network operating systems.
  • Responsible for network design and security, including troubleshooting and/or debugging network-related problems.
  • Good knowledge of troubleshooting, problem identification, resolution, and/or resolution recommendation activities for first- and second-level teams.
  • Managing Cisco security devices (ASA 5555-X and 5585-X), Juniper networks (including virtual firewall contexts), Check Point Firewall.
  • Managing Cisco Data Security Devices (ASDM, CSM, DCNM).
  • Managing servers and related services (AAA, SNMP, Syslog, NTP, DHCP, DNS, IPS, VPN, load balancers, F5).
  • Managing Cisco Routers and Switches (Catalyst 6500, 4500, 3750, 2960, 3560 Series) and Alcatel OmniSwitch 6850/9000.
  • Significant exposure to TACACS+, RADIUS, and Cisco Access Control System.
  • Network consulting for new projects and implementation of new solutions with risk mitigation.
  • Handle inbound network access provisioning/de-provisioning service requests.
  • Experience in managing Wireless environments with WLAN controllers and Network Access Control.
  • Maintain network authorization infrastructure, backup systems, and inventory/documentation of equipment.
  • Develop and document standards for computer and network devices; coordinate repairs to LAN/WAN with timely user notifications.
  • Troubleshoot networks, systems, and applications to identify and correct malfunctions; provide support to users and internal teams.
Qualifications
  • Adequate networking knowledge with a valid CCNA certification.
  • Hands-on experience supporting and troubleshooting Aruba and Cisco wireless networks (controllers and access points).
  • Ability to travel across 12 sites; distance is not a limiting factor.
  • Customer-facing experience.
  • Some experience in vendor coordination (service follow-ups, scheduling, escalation).
  • Involvement in project support tasks, such as installation, testing, and documentation.
