Maltem Asia is seeking an Digital Transformation Project Manager for an Investment Banking Client based in Singapore .

Summary

• Our Client is seeking an experienced Digital Transformation Project Manager to lead the Global Banking Payments and Cash Management IT digital transformation journey.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the development and implementation of digitalization strategies , overseeing the execution of projects, and ensuring that our organization specifically within the Payments and Cash Management business remains competitive in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.
• Work with Product Managers and Operations users from all regions (APAC/EMEA/AMERICAS) on requirements gathering, impact analysis, and functional specifications for enhancements and issues reported in production.
• Business Analyst is also responsible for defining the test scope of SIT, UAT, and NRT and validating test outcomes with users and testers.

• Develop and Implement Digitalization Strategies : Collaborate with senior leadership to define and implement digital transformation strategies that align with the organization\'s vision and goals.
• Project Management : Lead cross-functional project teams to design, develop, and deploy digital solutions, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery. Own planning and development of IT Delivery Roadmap for projects and monitor execution end-to-end.
• Stakeholder Management : Communicate with stakeholders at all levels to ensure digitalization initiatives meet needs and expectations.
• Change Management : Develop and implement change management plans to ensure smooth transitions to new digital processes and systems. Optimize IT Project Delivery resource capacity and align deployment/implementation windows managed by Application Production Support team.
• Budgets & Forecasts : Support and assist the Domain Head and/or Programme Manager on budget matters.
• Digital Literacy : Promote digital literacy across the organization, providing training and support to employees to effectively utilize digital tools and systems.
• Risk Management : Identify and mitigate risks associated with digitalization initiatives, ensuring data and systems are secure and compliant with regulatory requirements.
• Metrics and Monitoring : Establish and track KPIs to measure the success of digitalization initiatives and identify areas for improvement.
• Vendor management and drive RFPs for new solutions if required.
• Uphold and ensure the project and program deliverables adhere to Corporate Governance and processes.
• Collaborate with fellow Project Managers within Cash Management IT and other Domain PMs to align key departmental objectives; escalate as needed to mitigate dependencies, risks, and issues.
• Participate in studies and methodologies adopted by the department and apply these standards.
• Contribute to meeting organization and preparation as required.

• Familiar with common cash management, payment market infrastructure , systems and products and industry standards, at least in APAC.
• Strong understanding of digital technologies , including cloud computing, artificial intelligence, and data analytics.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, strong work ethics, team spirit, and exceptional customer service attitude. Operational experience is an added advantage.
• Experience in working with offshore teams across different time zones, in a fast-paced, dynamic, multicultural environment.
• Practice of SDLC and/or Agile Scrum.
• Technical/programming background is an added advantage.

• Ability to manage stress and pressure and achieve team cohesion during challenging delivery periods.

• Minimum 12 years of experience in project management, preferably in a Digital Transformation context.
• Experience managing large-scale Cash Management & Payments IT or transformation projects.
• Proven track record leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects.
