About the role
This role involves preparation of technical and commercial proposals including equipment specification, costing and drawing. You will liaise with customers for project execution and provide engineering process calculations and equipment selection based on PFD, P&ID and specification. You will be responsible for overall planning, execution and completion of projects including coordination, budgeting, scheduling and achieving targeted project profitability. The position requires travel to customer sites for appropriate support and pursuit of APAC projects with industrial customers in the region.
Key responsibilities
- Preparation of technical and commercial proposal including equipment specification, costing and drawing
- Liaising with customers for project execution and other related matters upon company's requirement
- Providing engineering process calculation and process equipment selection and sizing based on PFD, P&ID and specification
- Responsible for the overall planning, execution and completion of projects which include coordination, budgeting, scheduling and achieving the targeted project profitability
- Provide engineering and technical support to meet customers goals and expectation
- Organize, coordinate and supervise delivery of equipment, site erection, pre-commissioning and commissioning work with vendors, sub-contractors and client
- Liaise effectively with client, authorities, contractors, suppliers and consultants
- Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion
- Pursue APAC projects with industrial customers in the region
About you
- Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, or Professional Degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 5 to 8 years of working experience in wastewater treatment design is preferred.
- Technically competent in mechanical design, engineering analysis, equipment specification and project execution
- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex engineering projects on time and within budget
- Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Proficient in project management software and tools
- Adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Exposure to overseas projects
