In August 2017, GOGOVAN merged with 58 Suyun, the leader in Mainland China’s intra-city logistics market, increasing GOGOVAN’s presence to over 300 cities, with more than 8 million registered drivers under its network.

We’re looking for a proactive Operations Executive to manage drivers, streamline deliveries, and ensure smooth operations If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, love problem-solving, and can work shifts, weekends & public holidays, we want you

Working Hours: Shift-based, 6:30 AM - 9:00 PM, Monday to Sunday (including Public Holidays, with Off-in-Lieu provided)

What You Will Deliver

  1. Handle incoming calls and requirements from drivers & clients.
  2. Be responsible for order taking, route planning, and driver coordination.
  3. Recruit, train, and induct employees to achieve and maintain a designed staffing pattern.
  4. Manage driver and customer documentation and filing, and update the database.
  5. Consolidate orders to maximize the use of trucks and vehicles.
  6. Ensure on-time connections from the warehouse.
  7. Assist the manager in executing daily operations to achieve monthly and quarterly KPIs and business results in the department.
  8. Assist management in implementing new strategic initiatives and contribute ideas for effectively scaling up operations.

Who You Are

  1. Experience in the logistics industry, warehouse, trucking company, or freight forwarding industry is a plus.
  2. Project experience is a plus.
  3. Proficient in typing in Chinese and English, as there are different groups of clients/customers from various backgrounds.
  4. Fundamental Microsoft Office knowledge and experience, especially in Excel.
  5. Enthusiastic about logistics, technology, and e-commerce.
  6. At least 1 year of logistics industry experience.
  7. Able to work under pressure and meet peak deliverables.
  8. Able to work shift work, weekends, and Public Holidays.
