What you’ll do: Reporting to the Deputy General Counsel, this position supports key business and customer initiatives of the company. Provide legal support on key functional and operational areas such as contracting, intellectual property, payments, licensing and other regulatory matters. Collaborate with product, marketing and business teams to ensure compliance in product development and business initiatives. Collaborate with senior leadership and key cross-functional stakeholders to provide expert legal advice and guidance on customer trust issues, including consumer protection, marketing and advertising laws and terms of service. Collaborate with customer experience team to manage and respond to customer complaints, inquiries, and regulatory investigations related to consumer protection and privacy. Support litigation and dispute resolution efforts as needed. What you’ll need: Minimum 3 years of experience in reputable law firms and/or MNCs; experience working with startup companies or in an entrepreneurial environment is a plus. More experienced candidates will be considered for the position of Managing Counsel. Experience in tech, e-commerce and/or customer trust related matters. Experience with the US and/or Europe is a plus. Flexible and hard-working, with a can-do attitude, practical and solution driven. Analytical and commercially minded, fast learner and tech savvy. Good communication skills and ability to manage business partners and stakeholders. Ability to manage projects independently and work under pressure.
