Job Description & Requirements Job Title: Solution Architect Occupation SOLUTION ARCHITECT Overview Responsibilities and requirements for this role include architectural design of cloud-native solutions, cloud migration, integration patterns, high availability patterns, and related technologies. The candidate should have broad technical knowledge across applications, development frameworks and technologies, with hands-on experience in Java/Spring/Angular, Oracle/PostgreSQL, Linux, API, Kafka, and related tools. Business knowledge in finance (ideally core banking or portfolio management) and interest in Financial & Banking industry are desirable. Experience Experience on designing and developing Cloud-native solutions Experience on Cloud migration, integration patterns, high availability patterns, etc. (e.g. REST APIs, Container platforms, Event-driven architecture, etc) Broad technical knowledge and experience across application, development frameworks and technologies Experience with Java/Spring/Angular, Oracle/PostgreSQL DB, Linux, API, Kafka etc. Functional/Business knowledge (of his current/past companies), ideally on core banking or portfolio management systems. Interest in Financial & Banking industry Experience working on a project or in an architecture team covering a large ecosystem of applications (30+) Experience in modeling activities (application maps, software design models, data modeling, infrastructure diagrams, etc.) Strong analysis skills with problem solving attitude Ability to communicate effectively in written documents and oral presentations, explaining concepts clearly to audiences at various levels of technical knowledge Effective leadership, planning and organization skills Plus Experience of Enterprise Architecture discipline, processes, concepts, and best practices Experience in Wealth Management, or Financial and Banking Industry Knowledge of a Wealth Management Core Banking System such as Temenos T24/Transact, ERI Olympic or Avaloq SCRUM/Agile experience Experience running Request for Proposal and assessing solutions Specific Qualifications (if required) Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering 3+ years of experience architecting or developing solutions in a Cloud environment 5+ years of experience in IT either as an Enterprise Architect or Solution Architect Architecture certification (TOGAF) or Cloud Architect certification (AWS, IBM Cloud) Other/Specific Qualifications (if required) IBM Cloud certification (101 and Bronze) Other Cloud Architect certification (AWS, Azure, Google) Architecture certification (TOGAF) #J-18808-Ljbffr
