Location: Sydney / Melbourne / Singapore. This role reports to the Vice President, Global GTM Enablement & AI Strategy.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and lead the successful execution of sales enablement programs to ensure internal and external APJ customers and partners are equipped with content, resources, tools and training to effectively differentiate and sell the GitLab solution.
  • Partner with field leadership across the APJ region to identify needs, build out plans, and tailor/deliver content customized to the nuances of specific teams/markets.
  • Scope and build new enablement content, including programs focused on product knowledge, skill development, onboarding, leadership development, and other areas for the APJ region.
  • Collaborate with enablement content and operations teams, along with SMEs, to identify and develop core sales training and enablement curriculum for various internal and external audiences in APJ.
  • Ensure alignment of sales enablement activities with key events such as new product releases, campaigns, and industry trade shows.
  • Leverage Salesforce.com CRM and other tools to deliver training to APJ and educate users on tools in the region.
  • Develop sales training job aids, supporting materials, and assessments to enhance field effectiveness in APJ.
  • Measure and report on the effectiveness of sales enablement investments and programs conducted.
  • Identify opportunities for improving the sales learning experience and explore innovative delivery techniques.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated progressive experience in a software sales or sales enablement role.
  • Ability to meet due dates and execute on projects with positive stakeholder impact.
  • Experience building relationships with sales leaders and their teams.
  • Software sales or sales enablement experience, preferably with expertise in DevOps and/or Open Source.
  • Working knowledge of sales training technology and methodologies; experience with sales enablement concepts and procedures.
  • Experience preparing, developing, and executing sales effectiveness strategies and action plans.
  • Ability to quickly understand technical concepts and explain them to audiences with varying technical expertise (sales team, customers, partners, internal support).
  • Strong ability to interact and influence effectively with field sales professionals and management.
  • Exceptional written/verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills and experience in project and change management and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Ability to use GitLab tools effectively.
