- Work closely with Food and Consumer Education (FCE) teachers to prepare materials and ingredients for practical lessons.
- Handle administrative tasks, including maintaining inventory, monitoring kitchen equipment and processing food ingredient orders with suppliers.
- Prepare and portion food ingredients for practical lessons while observing proper food hygiene practices.
- Clean the kitchen and check utensils after each lesson.
- Conduct stocktaking of food and cleaning supplies.
- Assist with school events when required.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the school.
- Must possess a Statement/Certificate of Attainment for the SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) Food Safety Course Level 1 or equivalent.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work well as part of a team and demonstrate initiative.
- Relevant experience in a school environment is an advantage.
1 year - opt to extend for 2 years (Jan 2027 - Dec 2027)
- Mondays to Fridays: 7:30am to 12:30pm, excluding lunch break
- Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays, school holidays (Jun/Nov/Dec) and gazetted public holidays
