Overview

The role involves working with a team of enthusiastic planners focusing on key deliverables for customer demand, with close collaboration with Factory planning, Direct materials, Customer service and Engineers to mitigate risk, resolve quality or yield issues, supply shortages or expedites. Manage project and development in planning systems and applications to support business continuity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure delivery of product to customer within the current committed lead time, avoiding delinquencies, while maintaining inventory goals
  • Assign original order schedule dates and perform reschedules based on materials availability
  • Engaging in expedite management for critical customer requirements
  • Make production start requests with vendors for assembly, post-test, and rework
  • Manage inventory, excess and obsolescence (E&O) including quarterly scrap and overall inventory reporting
  • Assess and report on on-time delivery and develop proactive measures to improve delivery
  • Perform ad hoc analysis and maintenance of Supply Chain metrics
  • Maintain lead-times, yield, and supply chain system parameters
  • Involve and collaborate in cross functional team to drive continuous improvement
  • Design, develop tool in planning system or application like Kinaxis and APEX
  • Monitor and maintain operation of planning systems
  • Document and upkeep flow chart on supply chain operation flow
Preferred Experience
  • Strong communication and analytical skills
  • Highly organized and precise
  • Strong problem-solving skills, including ability to identify root causes with corrective and preventive actions
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Preferred knowledge on PSQL, Power BI and SAP
  • Strong business acumen and judgment capabilities
  • Superior organizational, priority setting and time management skills
Academic Credentials
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business
