Senior Assistant Project Manager (M&E), Facilities Development
Corporate Infrastructure Office
Supporting the Institution Lead, you will assist in the planning and implementation of Facilities Development projects in Kent Ridge Campus and set up project management systems and tools.
- Project Management: Develop project governance policies and processes to enable consistency in the delivery of infrastructure projects in the cluster.
- Project Management: Develop technical standards for cluster infra projects and ensure standardisation and alignment with overall hospital’s infrastructure and design in the projects.
- Project Management: Engage users to carry out feasibility studies for hospital rejuvenation projects.
- Project Management: Lead the design development of projects.
- Project Management: Procurement of consultancy and construction packages for the implementation of the projects.
- Project Management: Review and approve project schedules, method statements, material submissions and permits to work during construction stage.
- Project Management: Oversee and manage consultants and contractors in the delivery of their services in accordance with their contract terms.
- Project Management: Prepare cost estimates, scope of work and Bill of Quantities.
- Project Management: Prepare minutes of meetings, reports, and presentation materials.
- Adhoc duties and projects in support of CIFO’s mission.
- Lead and execute Special Projects or tasks as directed by RO.
- Provide support to the team in the preparation of project related tender documents (including specifications, cost estimates, scope of work, BOQ, etc.) and the review and evaluation of variations and/or contractual claims, where required.
- Review and sign-off projects related documents.
- Oversee consultants, site staff and contractors in implementation, inspection, and testing and commissioning of M&E systems in renovation projects.
- Coordinate and collaborate with various stakeholders such as Project Manager, Project Owner, Facilities Management, etc.
- Degree in Engineering.
- Min. 3-5 years of professional experience with focus on complex, live-environment A&A.
- Min. 2 years of experience with healthcare infrastructure or commercial projects.
- Experience in owner/developer setting will be an advantage.
- High level of technical competency.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to build and maintain good working relationships across departments and teams.
- Ability to manage ambiguities in the course of work.
- Team player and able to collaborate with stakeholders of various functions.
- Ability to multi-task.
