Senior/ Executive Engineer (Geotechnical and Civil & Structural)

Join us at SJ Group as a Senior/ Executive Engineer (Geotechnical and Civil & Structural) .

Location: Singapore

Responsibilities
  • Design, analyze, and assess geotechnical and civil engineering projects, including ground improvement works, foundations, excavations, earth retaining structures, slopes, instrumentation, and site investigations.
  • Plan, supervise, and coordinate geotechnical and civil engineering design and site works.
  • Ensure all engineering works comply with relevant standards, regulations, and codes of practice.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders, clients, consultants, contractors, and authorities.
  • Assist the Team Leader in maintaining high-quality standards in design and supervision.
  • Supervise and guide junior engineers and site staff.
Requirements
  • Degree or Master in Geotechnical Engineering or equivalent recognized by PEB.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in geotechnical engineering projects.
  • Familiarity with structural & geotechnical design in Eurocodes.
  • Proficiency in geotechnical design software such as Plaxis 2D & 3D, GeoStudio, TEDDS, STAAD Pro, SAFE, SAP 2000, etc.
  • Knowledge of authorities' submission requirements and project management for civil/infrastructure projects.
  • Experience with ground improvement techniques (DCM, PVD, Surcharge & VF), civil, structural designs, and BIM is advantageous.
