Responsibilities
  • Work alongside the Programme Manager to deliver Projects end to end for CMC Markets Group
  • Coordinate with numerous business areas to achieve common objectives
  • Proactively manage risks and issues and determine suitable mitigation or corrective actions
  • Proactively manage project dependencies to keep the overall project timeline on track
  • Where relevant, support with Business Analysis on specific projects or work packages
  • Identify gaps or overlaps in projects and negotiate scope adjustments with project managers, executives and sponsors
  • Identify gaps in business processes and suggest correction strategies
  • Resource planning and forecasting
  • Maintain excellent oral and written communications with both business and IT stakeholders at all levels, including executives
  • Provide clear, fair, and high-quality service to customers, clients or colleagues, presenting a professional image of CMC Markets
  • Maintain appropriate confidentiality
  • Undertake other duties, training and hours of work as reasonably required and consistent with the role
Key skills and experience
  • Experienced Project Manager with a track record of managing multi-disciplinary, complex projects
  • Experience in a regulated environment (brokerage)
  • Proactive in resolving business problems, decision-making and prioritisation
  • Advanced communication, problem solving, negotiation and conflict resolution skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to adapt to change and competing demands
  • Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision and take ownership of tasks both large and small
  • Flexible and adaptable approach to change
  • Good understanding of project management methodologies
  • Previous experience as a Project Manager, Delivery Manager or Change Manager
  • Prior experience in CFD Platform preferred
