As a Data Architect , you will define the strategic data architecture roadmap to bring our clients’ digital experiences to life through modern data technologies. Comfortable engaging senior business and technology leaders, you credibly guide them to navigate evolving market trends. You bring hands-on expertise in designing and delivering high-performance, scalable analytical and data architecture solutions. A natural collaborator, you partner with strategists and creative teams to translate ideas and requirements into customer-centric experiences. Passionate about driving business value through data science, you identify opportunities for transformation using streaming analytics and lead data management teams in close alignment with application and technology functions. What will you do? Data Architecture & Strategy Development of data architecture, strategy, and governance to support business, application, security, and technology strategic analysis and decision-making. Assessment of current and target states of the data architecture to align with strategic or tactical objectives and to develop recommendations to close the gaps. Manage architecture and technology governance committee agenda to ensure data, security, and technology requirements are aligned to enterprise standards and policies. Data Integration & Infrastructure Integrate cloud and on-premise data warehouses and data lakes with metadata management for powerful data-driven solutions. Evaluation of data-related technologies and defining best practices in the assessment of standards, tools, and methodologies, including ETL development and hands-on data analysis. Data Governance & Quality Management Provide consultancy to clients in data governance to improve quality and control in data management and usage. Define standards, processes, and best practices in data management. Ensure data quality and perform data cleansing to maintain a single source of truth, enabling “data as a service” for business units and front-end applications. Perform quality reviews of data modelling designs and deliverables, leading work sessions and presentations with business stakeholders. Create innovations in analytic algorithms and methodologies with tangible business impact. Oversee the end-to-end analytical solutioning process, from conceptualization to business engagement. Stakeholder Engagement & Communication Present roadmaps and architecture landscapes to senior stakeholders to address the organization’s data science, cognitive, analytics, and reporting requirements. The ideal candidate should possess: Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent Minimum of 10 years IT experience and 5 years in data architecture, strategy, modelling and tools At least 5 years design & development experience in enterprise data warehousing and analytics projects Expert in Oracle, MSSQL, MYSQL database technologies Best practices using data solutions using Hadoop, Cloudera, Spark, Kafka, MongoDB, NoSQL, Cassandra, Graph, etc Familiar with Tableau, Microstrategy, Qlikview, Informatica, Hortonworks, Talend, Hive and HBase Understands machine learning, statistics, natural language processing, sentiment analysis, graph analysis, augmented and virtual reality Proficient in handling complex technical development concepts, latest software tools and technologies, strong database concepts and designing techniques Excellent in working effectively in a multi-tasking environment, ability to prioritize competing tasks Fluency and efficiency in creating technical architecture documentation, presentations and stakeholder pitches TOGAF or other industry recognized architecture certifications preferred Clear communicator with excellent oral and written skills and experience interacting with both business and IM individuals at all levels including the executive level Possess the personal attributes of integrity, trust and credibility, hungry for results and show perseverance.
