The Distribution Support Specialist II position is a customer support function and serves as a point of contact for internal and external communications within distribution. The main responsibilities includes preparation of documents for outbound transportation, which includes delivery orders and commercial invoices for export and inter-company shipments, checking the products on SKU, quantity and initiates a Goods Inbound Discrepancy report for any damages or wrong products received, performs shipment receiving or confirmation in SAP or BAAN systems for inbound and outbound process respectively. How You’ll Make an Impact: Perform Documents, tracks and reports the flow of daily orders for Channel Partners and Inter-companies as well as end users. Creates and consolidates outbound deliveries, Transportation Unit, for STOs and sales in SAP (ECC and EWM). Order Entry for Channel Partners and Inter-company. RBC batch allocation for all orders out of Cressier and Dreieich. Creates export documentation. Performs PDO process in SAP. Coordinates and schedules all customer shipments for instrumentation and spare parts, and supply center orders. Daily follow-up on POD’s. Ensure/initiate action when no POD is received. Reporting on KPI including daily reporting of on time shipments, reported errors and missed shipments. Releasing shipment orders, preparing export documentation, coordinate special deliveries. Work with CS to review problem orders. Place purchase requisitions for indirect supplied and perform monthly accruals for same. Coordinates the flow of goods, including exception management, re-routing, expediting, and other actions required to meet expected lead times or other customer service requirements. Provides detailed analysis of end to end performance. Documents, tracks and reports the flow of daily orders transferred to the warehouse and delivered to the end customers. Supports reverse logistics and flow of RMAs (return material authorization) from customer to return center. Point of contact for order status inquiries from internal stakeholders and external service providers. Initiates and reviews PGI (Post Good Issue). Ensuring all shipment orders are completed and closed in SAP. Ensures export/import documentation is accurate and complete in the system. Track shipments of goods throughout the supply chain. Support warehouse activity as needed. Report all perceived hazards to Distribution Manager. Ensure compliance to GDPMDS/ISO/Risk Assessment requirements.
