Sr. Principal CAO VP, Infrastructure Finance & Strategy

• As a Sr. Principal CAO VP, Infrastructure Finance & Strategy with our client, you will play a crucial role in partnering closely with the Chief Technology Office (CTO) and Infrastructure teams. Your responsibilities will include managing and optimizing multi-million-dollar budgets, developing forward cost projections, and ensuring transparent and accurate cost allocations through the Infrastructure Service Catalogue configuration. You will be expected to design, implement, and refine Automated/Inventory-based chargeback models, utilize tools for tracking and optimizing infrastructure costs, and support FinOps best practices for cost management. Additionally, you will review business cases for infrastructure investments, create senior-level presentations, and perform analytics to identify optimization opportunities. Collaboration with IT Business Management Shared Services and Finance to standardize financial processes, influence infrastructure leaders, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement will be key aspects of this role.The ideal candidate for this position will have a strong background in technology finance or infrastructure financial management within large enterprises, hands-on experience with tools such as Apptio and Cloudability, and knowledge of automated chargeback models and infrastructure service catalogues. Deep understanding of various IT infrastructure services, exceptional analytical skills, experience in multi-year cost projections, and the ability to challenge existing processes and drive improved financial governance are essential qualities. Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA or CFA preferred) along with 12+ years of relevant experience, will be required for this role.
