Associate - Underwriting Support

Join to apply for the Associate - Underwriting Support role at Great Eastern To support daily new business administration tasks, ensuring accuracy, compliance and timely delivery of policy issuance. Process daily transactions relating to New Business Underwriting, including new applications, medical/premium billing, policy issuance and despatch. Coordinate and collaborate with intermediaries and internal stakeholders to resolve daily work issues and ensure efficient and timely service to customers. Provide backup support during team members’ absences and undertake ad hoc task as assigned by supervisor. Participate in ad-hoc projects assigned to support business operations and process improvements. Diploma/Degree holder and above in related discipline (Banking/ Finance/ Business/ Accounting) Relevant experience in the insurance industry or in an administrative capacity with an eye for details and meticulous Good interpersonal skills and communication skills – proficient in oral and written Computer literacy with good working knowledge of MS Office (eg Excel, Word) applications Strong problem-solving abilities and a customer service orientated mindset.
