Production & Operations Coordinator Location: Ang Mo Kio Industrial Park 2Industry: Surface Treatment / Precision EngineeringAbout the Role We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Production & Operations Coordinator.This position serves as the key link between management, production, quality control, and customers - ensuring seamless communication, accurate job tracking, and timely order fulfilment.The ideal candidate is organised, proactive, and enjoys coordinating across teams in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. While prior experience in manufacturing or surface treatment is not required, a willingness to learn the basics of chemistry and production processes will be beneficial. Comprehensive on-the-job training will be provided.Key Responsibilities Coordination & Communication • Act as the primary liaison between the General Manager, Production, and Quality teams.• Communicate job priorities, track schedules, and ensure smooth information flow.• Coordinate with customers on job status, delivery timelines, and documentation requirements.• Support management in planning production workload and resolving scheduling issues.Operations Support • Receive and verify incoming job orders and related documents.• Prepare job travellers, update production tracking systems, and monitor work-in-progress (WIP).• Ensure accurate preparation of delivery orders, treatment certificates, and shipment documents.• Assist in maintaining an organised workflow and proper job documentation.Quality & Process Support • Liaise with QC to ensure inspection results and certifications are properly recorded.• Support coordination of rework, special processing, or customer feedback.• Learn the fundamentals of surface treatment processes (e.g. anodising, electroless nickel plating, passivation, chromate conversion) to better understand production requirements.Requirements • Diploma in Business, Operations Management, or Science (basic chemistry knowledge is an advantage).• Strong communication and coordination skills, with attention to detail.• Organised and able to manage multiple priorities independently.• Comfortable working in both office and production environments.• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and basic data entry; experience with production tracking systems is a plus.• Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and a hands-on approach to teamwork.
