As a key leader within the High Bandwidth Memory (HBM) Product Engineering Media Health team, you will spearhead and develop a high-performing team driving reliability test development and execution for Micron’s latest HBM products, including DRAM and interface die, and stacked products. You will drive extrinsic DPM reduction (Time 0 and Field DPM), lead the intrinsic reliability charter, and optimize Manufacturing Test Flow to meet critical KPI’s for Quality, Cost and Cycle Time.

You will guide the team to characterize products from a reliability perspective, identify gaps, work on root cause and resolution of qual and RMA failures related to defectivity and intrinsic reliability margins, and drive fab process improvements guided by qualification failures. The team will also lead frontend process conversions, collaborating with Fab, TD, and GQ teams to establish robust business processes for process conversions to improve yield, DPM, and cost. You will collaborate across functions within and outside of HBM to meet strategic and tactical objectives while maximizing the effectiveness of the HIG HBM Product Engineering organization.

• Reliability Test Flow Development: Define and develop reliability stress, test flows and test plans covering all Product Reliability aspects.
• Reliability Test Plan and Execution: Work with Global Quality to define qualification plans, manage qualification execution progress, and drive issue resolution.
• DPM reduction: Drive extrinsic reliability (Time 0 and Field DPM) and intrinsic reliability through optimized Manufacturing Test Flows and Test Strategy to meet KPI’s (Quality, Cost, Cycle Time).
• Root Cause and Resolution of Qual and RMA Device Issues: Debug and identify root causes in reliability tests using EFA/PFA and drive improvements via cross-functional collaboration.
• Process Conversions and HVM: Recommend fab process conversions to reduce cost and increase yields, impacting yield, quality, reliability, and performance of HBM products.
• Risk Management: Communicate with Product Managers/Leads to manage risks associated with DPM process conversions.
• Promotion of Innovation: Drive changes that provide Micron with a technical advantage.
• Mentorship and Development of Others: Actively develop and mentor team members.
• Project Management: Develop project management skills within the team for timely delivery of solutions.
• Technical Decision Making: Make final risk analysis and project prioritization decisions.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with Fab, HBM Technology Development, HBM Design, System Development, and Quality/Reliability teams.

• Bachelors/Masters in Electrical and Electronics Engineering or related field. Product Engineering experience preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership and technical problem-solving skills with root-cause analysis and solution space exploration.
• Strong knowledge of statistics, data analysis tools, and scripting.
• Adaptable and motivated with a flexible approach to roles in a dynamic environment (team leadership and technical program leadership).
• Proven track record of collaborative work across teams on sophisticated business and engineering problems.
• Strong sense of responsibility, professional work ethic, and excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Passionate about people leadership with a commitment to ongoing development in this area.
• Willing to work on site in Singapore with international travel to the US, Taiwan, and Japan.
