- You will be leading and developing a high-performing team of energy specialists in Mumbai within the Data business area at Bloomberg. Your main responsibility will be managing and analyzing data for the energy sector, including subsectors like oil & gas and renewable energy companies. Your role is crucial in ensuring standards consistency within the sector and collaborating with others to ensure accurate and timely financial data delivery while providing company and industry-specific analysis. You will play a key role in driving the development of financial knowledge and analytical skills within your team to generate meaningful insights for customers. Your team will be instrumental in transforming complex data and processes into essential financial data products for our users.As a Team Leader, you will need to:- Stay informed about energy sector trends and leverage your company data understanding to gather and analyze information for client analysis promptly and accurately.- Recruit and mentor a team of analysts who will specialize in energy and data management, handling time-sensitive and high-quality data processing.- Encourage your team to offer news content on market developments and provide technical analysis of market trends to support our product team and customers.- Collaborate with global counterparts to enhance the role, workflow, and operating procedures to ensure consistent data quality and timeliness across regions.- Establish processes and standards that guarantee exceptional data delivery and customer service.- Work with various data and core business groups to enhance product databases and functionality across the terminal.- Apply your industry deep learning passion to the team's overarching vision and use this knowledge to make decisions regarding data interoperability.- Lead and mentor your team on significant data projects and business initiatives related to the energy industry.Requirements:- Minimum 3+ years of leadership experience with a proven track record of building influential relationships.- Strong understanding of data management principles and technologies, financial modeling, data analysis, and statistics.- Proficiency in financial modeling tools like Excel and PowerPoint, SQL, and coding languages like Python.- In-depth knowledge of financial data impact, financial statement analysis, and industry analysis.- Understanding of one or more energy sub-sectors, ability to quantify industry trends, and provide insights for commercial decisions.- Vision to align team goals for exceptional service delivery.- Ability to develop and implement business strategies that align with the vision.- Strong problem-solving skills and data analysis capabilities.Preferred qualifications:- CFA designation or working towards it.- Knowledge of modeling software and data visualization tools like QlikSense.- Experience with research and economic data impacting the energy sector and working with industry data for product coverage.If you meet the requirements and are enthusiastic about the opportunity, apply now to be considered for this Team Leader position at Bloomberg in Mumbai.,
