Manager, Middleware Application

We are looking for an experienced Manager to join our Enterprise & Gaming Technology team.The incumbent will lead the EAI Middleware team, enabling a middleware framework that supports integration of systems and applications across the enterprise and lead the unit to drive results to effectively simplify and automate data and business processes among connected application in pace with the enhanced degree of agility in the enterprise.We recognize that each individual has a unique blend of skills. Whether your strength is in technological development or digital strategy, we want to talk to you.What You'll Do You will develop strategic direction for EAI Middleware platforms, align with target state blueprints for business, applications, and infrastructure. You will support and drive the collaboration between the Service Management and Delivery teams enabling an agile construct. You will drive continuous improvement efforts by working closely with the various IT departments and teams. You will be responsible for the performance of the EAI Middleware unit, including the setting, monitoring and ongoing management of KPIs and other metrics. You will lead the solutioning team to ensure seamless integration of system and applications across the enterprise. You will provide strategic leadership in transformation initiatives and collaborate with cross functional teams, ensure appropriate integration while avoiding sweeping changes to the existing application and data structures. You will establish secure delivery platform and efficient agile processes and methodologies to reduce time to market and enhance visibility and control. You will oversee budgeting and resource allocation to minimize delivery cost and maximize service delivery performance. You will guide and support the solution delivery and operations management team to analyse a diverse scope of issues that require analysis of complex and varied factors, situations and/or data. You will oversee strategic partnerships/vendors relations to maintain performance levels and scope of services as defined in established agreements. You will ensure high quality and continuity of IT operations within the EAI Middleware section. You will build long-term working relationships across departments / sections and promote cross team collaboration. You will oversee the employee management process for the team (e.g. staffing decisions, coaching, development, evaluation). You will manage, coach and mentor the team and support an environment in which all personnel can develop and apply their skills to meet individual and department goals. You will set performance targets and evaluate delivery against targets, counsel staff in career/performance development. You will enforce/ensure corporate and department standards, policies and guidelines within the team. Who You Are You have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related IT discipline. You have 10-12 years of proven experience in driving technological development and managing operational efforts including 4-5 years of experience in managing a team, and with at least 4-5 years of experience in an enterprise of a size comparable to Singapore Pools. You have extensive experience around technology innovation, digital strategy, and emerging technologies. You are able to look at the big picture and visualize a mid and long-term channel application strategy to support the business. You possess technical knowledge in middleware technologies such as message-oriented middleware (MOM), data representation technologies and web-based services. You should have strong analytical and problem-solving skills. You should have strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaboratively work with diverse teams including the Business.
