Singtel is launching a new AI-focused unit, AIDA – Artificial Intelligence & Data Analytics – to drive transformation, scale AI ambitions, and embed intelligence across the business. Responsibilities- Lead Data Science Projects: Take charge of planning, executing, and delivering complex data science projects that align with business objectives and are completed on time and within budget.
- Stakeholder Management: Maintain and foster relationships with stakeholders, ensuring their needs are met and identifying data science opportunities from their pain points.
- Advanced Model Development and Techniques: Research and implement state-of-the-art machine learning models and data analysis techniques; apply Generative AI where required to solve complex business problems.
- Team Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior data scientists, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the team.
- Bachelor's in a related field (e.g., Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics).
- Proven experience in delivering data science projects in a complex business environment.
- Proficiency in PySpark, PyTorch, Generative AI techniques and frameworks
- Working knowledge of building solutions on cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Experience with Big Data technologies and modern data platforms (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Databricks)
- Strong knowledge of AI, data science, data analysis, data engineering, software engineering, and machine learning.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Effective leadership and mentorship abilities.
- Business acumen and the ability to align data science projects with organizational goals.
