Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Custody Product Sales Senior Manager/Manager to join our client facing team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with financial institutions clients and provide them with tailored business solutions focusing on custody products. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned professional looking to advance their career in the securities industry and contribute to the growth of our business.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain client relationships relating to custody business and future potential business opportunities.
  • Main contact person to liaise with Head office custody team. Understand strategic business direction, collaborate with front office stakeholders to achieve business targets.
  • Promote business development and cooperation across various areas such as deposits and loans, and achieve sales target KPIs consisting of custody account opening, custody fees targets and Asset under Custody (AUC) targets.
  • Articulate clearly on client requirements and provide holistic client demands and solutions.
  • Propose fee quotation, and ability to project client revenue generation based on client portfolio.
  • Engage with internal stakeholders to line up the book of work, considering business priorities and driving timely deliveries across line of businesses.
  • Partner with core teams to lead time-sensitive sales programs while coordinating with business and technology stakeholders to deliver growth initiatives.
  • Familiar with global custody models and products, and maintain good relationships with sovereign, bank, and non-bank clients; understand cross-border institutional investment and QFI/CIBM channels.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree with more than 8 years of working experience; preference for candidates with more than 3 years in sales activities related to custody, fund accounting, and/or securities/fund operations in banking or brokerage sectors.
  • High adaptability, ability to handle stress in a fast-paced environment, and effective team management skills.
  • Excellent communication with strong interpersonal, written, and verbal skills in English and Chinese. Must be able to write in business Chinese.
  • Ability to conduct market research and produce high-quality reports in business Chinese.
