Quality Assurance Specialist

We embrace the responsibility of driving positive change to build a better, safer, and more equitable world for all.As a qualified candidate for this role, you will oversee key operations related to the quality of the vehicle assembly process up to pre-delivery inspection activities. Your responsibilities will involve collaborating with the engineering, manufacturing, and supplier teams on various aspects of the overall process.To excel in this position, you will be expected to:- Work closely with the design and manufacturing teams to establish clear quality acceptance standards and specifications based on customer feedback.- Validate and optimize new processes, equipment, and fixtures for production implementation with a focus on damage prevention.- Drive key performance indicators (KPIs) such as First Time Through (FTT) rate achievement, reduction in Defects Per Hundred Vehicles (DPHV), and foster a quality engineering mindset to address issues.- Have experience in 2W/3W EV vehicle quality assurance activities and possess the ability to analyze concerns at the vehicle level.- Develop detailed manufacturing instructions to document critical quality characteristics.- Aid in the design of production and inspection workstations to ensure quality standards are met.- Collaborate with Quality and Manufacturing Managers to identify and eliminate defects as part of the quality improvement agenda.- Contribute to the development and execution of a quality strategy through continuous improvement initiatives.- Take ownership of quality metrics reporting, data presentation, improvement planning, and communication with factory leadership.- Establish and manage Control Plans and auditing strategies based on risk assessments and data analysis from the factory and field.- Conduct audits on completed vehicles and collaborate with stakeholders on improvement initiatives.- Drive feedback on product design enhancements to Design Engineering and support Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) activities for new and existing products.- Handle supplier quality issues and collaborate with suppliers on corrective actions.Ideal candidates will possess a combination of the following skills:- Demonstrated leadership capabilities to build effective teams and engage with senior management.- Proficiency in Continuous Improvement, Kaizen, 5S, and Six Sigma methodologies.- Ability to implement and sustain a quality operating system within the Quality Control department.- Experience in optimizing production workstations for ergonomics and efficiency.- Skill in devising improvement plans for quality enhancements in operational areas to achieve desired outcomes.- Proficiency in software and tools such as Minitab, Excel, PowerPoint, JIRA, and SAP.If you are passionate about quality assurance in manufacturing, possess strong leadership skills, and are adept at driving continuous improvement in quality processes, we invite you to join our innovative team at Simpleenergy.,
