Looking for Medical Officer UD48 and above to fill the role of Resident Physician (Medical Officer). Salary SGD100,000-120,000/ year.

International medical doctors working in Singapore would start at Resident Physician level.

The field of specialisation that are available include:

  • Radiology*
  • Orthopaedic Surgery*
  • General / Internal Medicine
  • General Surgery
  • Ophthalmology

Candidate Doctors will be working under supervision of senior doctors. Trainings will be provided to ensure that Candidate Doctors will be able to perform the job well. These are purely service, non-consultant role.

  • 2 years renewable contract;
  • Salary package that includes basic salary, housing allowance, on-call/stay-inallowance, 13th month bonus and performance bonus which may total up to SGD 100,000 – 120,000 per annum;
  • One-time relocation allowance which includes air-ticket & settling-in allowance
  • 24 days of annual leaves, 14 days of sick leaves, 11 days of public holidays, 60 days hospitalization leaves;
  • Medical Malpractice Insurance coverage
Responsibilities
  • Management of patients under the supervision of senior doctors and in collaboration with other healthcare professionals;
  • Providing medical consultations;
  • Shift / on-call / stay-in night duties;
  • The supervision of junior doctor;
  • Assisting in Operating Theatre (for Surgery and Anaesthesiology role);
  • Any other duties as assigned by supervisor.

As all medical doctors working in Singapore will need to be registered with Singapore Medical Council (SMC), we need to make sure the Candidate Doctors meet the eligibility criteria:

  • Hold basic medical degree (MBBS) from Universiti of Malaya or Universiti KebangsaanMalaysia;
  • OR (if basic medical degree from other universities) to hold postgraduate medicaldegree recognised by SMC such as MRCP, FRCS, FRCA and FRCR;
  • To have a minimum 3 years of experience post internship / housemanship;
  • Other criteria.
