As a Vice President of Global Data Strategy and Governance in the Asset Wealth Management (AWM) team within Risk Management, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive data strategy and governance framework across the global organization. You will ensure data is managed as a strategic asset, transforming credit risk into a data-driven organization, leveraging business and artificial intelligence to shape strategic data vision and strategy, while maintaining regulatory compliance.
Job Responsibilities- Develop and implement a global data approach and strategy aligned with organizational objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-line-of-business stakeholders to ensure conformity to the firm-wide data agenda.
- Influence senior leaders through data intelligence.
- Lead a cross-functional team responsible for data, reporting, insights, and analysis.
- Work closely with business units, IT, and other stakeholders to align data strategy.
- Set governance standards on data sourcing and use.
- Implement data management tools and technologies to support data strategy and governance.
- Demonstrate intellectual curiosity.
- 9+ years of experience in Data Science and Information Management within a corporate environment.
- Strategic and transformative thinking and planning skills.
- Knowledge of business and artificial intelligence, data analytics, and reporting tools.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience in project management and stakeholder relationship building.
This role may involve working with remote teams across different time zones and may require travel.
