Principal Consultant | (Re)Insurance Asia at Lunos Overview We are seeking an experienced Casualty Facultative Underwriter to join a leading reinsurance team in Asia. The successful candidate will be responsible for underwriting and managing a portfolio of casualty facultative reinsurance risks across the region, delivering profitable growth while building strong relationships with cedants and brokers. Key Responsibilities Evaluate, analyze, and underwrite casualty facultative submissions across lines such as General Liability, Product Liability, Financial Lines, and other specialty casualty classes. Maintain and develop strong relationships with cedants, brokers, and internal stakeholders across the region. Identify and pursue new business opportunities in target markets. Stay up to date with regulatory, legal, and market developments affecting casualty and reinsurance in Asia. Contribute to product development and strategic initiatives within the facultative business. Qualifications & Experience Minimum 5–8 years of casualty underwriting experience, ideally with facultative reinsurance exposure. Deep understanding of casualty products, regional market dynamics, and reinsurance principles. Proven ability to build relationships with brokers and cedants across Asia. Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
