Purpose of the role, summary

  1. This position is designed to make significant contribution towards the overall strategic development in the Company as well as meeting the Asia Pacific and global quality requirements and targets.

  2. Be a key person to drive continuous quality improvement projects to ensure we meet and exceed strategic targets year on year.

  3. Be a key business leader in the Company, ensure continuous improvement of the company’s quality system, processes, and manpower planning to support the company's strategic development goals

Expected outcomes

  1. Fully responsible for overall quality management of Bufab SEA.

  2. Overall in charge for Customer quality related documents such as First Articles, PPAPs and Drawings. Manage team to ensure accurate, timely, and effective deliveries of these documents.

  3. Participate in strategic development, coordinate and implement departmental strategic growth priorities. Oversee tactical programs and workflow processes required to accomplish the organizational and departmental goals and objectives.

  4. Regular review of the quality organization and structure, ensure team members’ capabilities are constantly aligned to effectively support the ambitious growth plan.

  5. Work closely with internal teams to provide professional service to satisfy external customers’ needs & requirements, resolve customer quality complaints in a timely and professional manner, hence achieving maximum approval success rates of customer audits.

  6. Work closely with suppliers for continuous quality improvement, develop long-term symbiotic relationship with key suppliers.

  7. Train manpower to maintain ISO system and documents.

  8. Prepare Monthly Reports to keep management team well informed.

Required Qualifications & Competencies

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Mechanical

  2. Experience in quality and process management, track record of success in quality control and continuous improvement projects

  3. At least 10 years work experience, especially in Customer Quality management, ISO management and Supplier Quality management and 6 years in management position in multinational company

  4. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills

  5. Strong Collaborative Leadership and Influencing Skills

  6. Strong technical, analytical and problem-solving skills in mechanical applications

  7. Commercial, strategy development, and project management experience

  8. Good command of English in both writing and oral, Mandarin is a plus
