Key Responsibilities: Implement Safety Programs Develop and enforce safety protocols and hazard control measures specific to curtain wall installation activities. Identify and Mitigate Hazards Conduct risk assessments and implement preventive measures for risks such as working at heights, equipment use, and handling heavy materials. Conduct Site Inspections Regularly inspect the worksite to ensure compliance with safety regulations and verify the proper use of PPE and adherence to safety procedures. Provide Safety Training Deliver safety briefings, toolbox talks, and hands-on training to site workers on safe practices and emergency procedures. Investigate Incidents Lead investigations into workplace incidents or near-misses, determine root causes, and recommend corrective actions. Emergency Preparedness Develop and implement emergency response plans for falls, injuries, or adverse weather conditions. Communicate and Coordinate Ensure safety standards are understood and upheld by all workers, subcontractors, and site visitors. Liaise with site management and other trades to coordinate safety measures. Maintain Safety Records Keep detailed documentation of site inspections, training sessions, safety incidents, and regulatory compliance. Liaise with Authorities Serve as the point of contact for regulatory bodies such as MOM or WSH Council on safety compliance matters. Promote a Strong Safety Culture Champion a proactive safety mindset and reinforce accountability among all workers on-site. Specific Tasks Include: Reviewing and approving lifting plans Monitoring scaffolding and fall protection systems Verifying use of correct PPE Conducting weather-related safety checks Providing tool safety guidance and enforcing housekeeping standards Coordinating shared work zones for multi-trade safety compliance Requirements: Minimum 3 years of experience in construction site safety supervision Relevant safety certifications (e.g., WSQ Advanced Certificate in WSH, or equivalent) Strong knowledge of local safety regulations (WSH Act, CP79, etc.) Good communication and leadership skills Experience in curtain wall or façade installation safety is an advantage Familiarity with MOM regulations and safety requirements is preferred. Chinese-speaking candidates are preferred, as the role involves liaising with Mandarin-speaking vendors and clients. (Non-Chinese-speaking candidates are also welcome to apply)
