The Senior Qualys Engineer role at Allianz Technology SE India Branch involves engineering the large global Qualys platform deployment and identifying vulnerabilities in a large enterprise environment, including Cloud and DevOps environments. As a candidate, you will need to have a defender mindset and excel in a fast-paced environment, collaborating closely with IT infrastructure services such as networking, firewalls, hypervisors, servers, and business application development.Your primary responsibilities will include managing the Qualys platform, running enterprise vulnerability assessment programs, and utilizing Python and common DevOps technologies like GitHub, Jenkins, and Docker. You should also be familiar with major Cloud providers such as AWS and Azure, have knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems, and possess expertise in IT infrastructure technologies, application servers, databases, and networking.Moreover, you are expected to have experience in vulnerability scans and assessments across various devices, servers, applications, and databases. Understanding security operations, governance processes, and common vulnerability management standards such as CVE, CVSS, and EPSS is crucial. Familiarity with offensive security tactics like MITRE ATT&CK and agile project management tools like JIRA and Confluence will be beneficial.In addition to the technical skills, you should have a bachelor's degree in computer science, information security, or equivalent field, with at least 6+ years of experience in Information Security or Information Technology. Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, and experience in multi-cultural environments are essential soft skills for this role.
