Assistant Engineer

About the job: M&E Systems Management Oversee daily operations and maintenance of M&E facilities within the building. Plan and implement systematic approaches for repair, maintenance, and service improvements. Maintenance Planning & Execution Develop and review maintenance regimes and processes to enhance building services. Monitor and ensure timely execution of scheduled, breakdown, and cyclical maintenance activities. Contractor Supervision & Site Inspections Supervise outsourced contractors to ensure minimal disruption to building operations. Conduct daily inspections to maintain site standards and respond promptly to defects. Emergency Response & Stakeholder Engagement Attend monthly meetings with the Employer and be present on-site during emergencies. Coordinate joint inspections and ensure all instructions from the Employer are executed efficiently. Team Leadership & Safety Compliance Supervise on-site staff and enforce fire safety rules and measures. Ensure all M&E and building services are maintained in optimal operating condition. About you: Degree/diploma in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent with minimum 5 years relevant experience in maintaining M&E systems in the high-rise office buildings. Must have practical knowledge of building services and M&E operations such as air conditioning system, electrical system and capable of troubleshooting system breakdowns.
