Department: Sales Department – Chockfast
Reporting to: Business Manager – Chockfast

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
  • Manage & develop new customers based for service sales in the industrial, Marine & Offshore/Oil Gas market.
  • Maintain a high standard of customer service and good customer relations.
  • Maximize profit margins and meet pre-set sales targets.
  • Assist Business Manager – Chockfast in identifying and developing sales & marketing strategies to exploit opportunities in the local and overseas markets.
  • Make sales presentations and provide technical support to customers.
  • Keep informed on industry news, trends, products, services, competitors, and relevant information about technologies and product-line developments.
  • Provide proactive leadership and take responsibility in the customer/sales team environment for technical solutions proposed by the Company.
  • Work closely with sales teams to develop effective relationships and understand sales strategy and approach to accounts and opportunities.
  • Provide accurate account information/reports to the Business Manager – Chockfast on a regular basis as per the reporting process.
  • Assist in the development of the organization and Sales teams through sharing specialist skills and knowledge via training and coaching as required.
  • Perform inspection, installation, chocking of engines, stern tubes, deck machinery on a variety of vessels.
  • Communicate with superiors for briefing of service-related works.
  • Prepare necessary service reports, ISO work instructions, risk assessments and checklists for all works.
  • Coordinate with customers for planning and scheduling of activities prior to commencement of work and obtain appropriate approvals.
  • Manpower and work schedule planning; mentor and supervise technicians during service jobs.
  • Always prioritize safety for yourself and colleagues in line with the company's EH&S policy.
  • Any other tasks as assigned by management.
Required Qualifications And Skills Technical / Professional
  • At least Diploma in Engineering
  • At least 2 years working experience in Marine or Offshore / Oil & Gas Industry
Technological
  • Competent in Microsoft Office
General
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Demonstrate ability to work professionally, independently and efficiently
  • Continuous improvement mindset
  • Detail-oriented
  • Good product and market knowledge
  • Good selling / marketing skills
  • Have own car or class 3 driving license
People/Relations
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • People-oriented personality
  • Good team player with good attitude, integrity, interpersonal, organization and time management skills
Industrial Knowledge
  • Marine or Offshore / Oil & Gas Industry
