Job Description: ULC Academy is seeking passionate and experienced Adult English Language Teachers to join our growing team. We are looking for individuals who are confident communicators, student-focused, and enthusiastic about helping adult learners improve their English fluency and confidence - both in everyday and professional contexts.You will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality English lessons to adult learners of various levels, from beginner to advanced. Both full-time and freelance (contract-based) positions are available.Key Responsibilities: Plan and conduct engaging and level-appropriate English lessons for adult learners Teach a range of courses including:General EnglishBusiness EnglishExam Preparation (IELTS, TOEFL, Cambridge English)Conversation and Speaking Confidence Create lesson plans and select materials aligned with learner needs and CEFR levels Provide constructive feedback to students and maintain accurate progress reports Contribute to curriculum improvement and in-house training when applicable Conduct trial lessons and placement assessments as needed Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree or above (preferably in English, Linguistics, Education or related fields) Recognised English teaching qualification (CELTA, TESOL, TEFL, or equivalent) Minimum 1 year of experience teaching adult learners (in-person or online) Strong communication and classroom management skills Comfortable teaching both group and private lessons Positive, professional, and adaptable to diverse student backgrounds Passionate about helping students build confidence in real-world English use Preferred Qualifications: Experience teaching in Singapore or a multicultural environment Familiarity with CEFR, IELTS or other proficiency standards Ability to teach additional languages (e.g. Japanese, Spanish, French, Chinese) is a plus Available to work evenings and/or weekends Employment Type: Full-Time Freelance / Part-Time (Flexible schedule available) Working Location: ULC Academy - Orchard Road, Singapore(Walking distance from Somerset MRT)Remuneration: Competitive rates based on experience and class type Freelancers paid hourly / Full-time salary negotiable Incentives and renewal bonuses available
