Job Description General Description:
Conduct various testing on controllers and panels prior to final approval and shipping to the customer. This is a potentially hazardous assignment; proper PPE and training are required to work safely in this area. Both skilled entry-level candidates and those gaining on-the-job training through the plant floor are acceptable paths.
Reports To: Team Lead – Tester Supervisor
Requirements:
- Monitor testing of panels and controls
- Experience with electrical circuits and troubleshooting
- Interpreting schematics
- Monitor Thermography testing
- Document all testing, including using computers, logs, and cameras
- Follow written procedures for the testing program
- Follow LOTO procedures
- Maintain documentation (paper & electronic)
- Follow router sheets
- Connect and disconnect various cables and connections
