Overall Role Purpose Leverage large volumes of structured and unstructured data within Group Data Science to solve real business problems across OCBC. Collaborate with business units to understand their challenges and transform them into ML and AI solutions. Work on AI and Generative AI, including building and serving applications for conversational bots and content generation. Responsibilities Identify opportunities for leveraging big data and Data Science to create value for customers and the business. Develop and maintain machine learning and deep learning models for various business outcomes. Coordinate with teams to deploy models into production, including large pretrained and fine-tuned models. Use MLOps tools to monitor and improve model performance and accuracy. Specific Knowledge 5+ years of experience with data manipulation and statistical modeling, ideally with advanced degrees in related fields. Experience leading a team. Strong programming skills and understanding of software engineering best practices. Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Trino, and VectorDB. Experience with distributed frameworks for training and serving models. Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps tools like Jira, Jenkins, GIT/Bitbucket. Track record of deploying ML solutions at scale, including AI and GenAI. Communication & Soft Skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Creative in translating data insights into compelling stories and decisions for non-technical stakeholders. Strong communication skills with a focus on delivering business benefits. Genuine interest in learning new technologies. Flexible in contributing as an individual or in team settings.
