Global Finance Director

This role is about system mastery, not just strategy. You'll craft a streamlined, AI-driven infrastructure that eliminates the need for large teams. Ownership of tuition, audits, and tax filings will be yours, achieved by creating decision documents, minimizing complexity, and scaling systems autonomously.

Collaborate directly with senior leaders to fuel expansion strategies, budget planning, vendor negotiations, and compliance processes. Your insights will shape the backbone of pioneering educational models, influencing how millions of students engage with learning.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and manage a streamlined, AI-driven finance system supporting rapidly growing educational enterprises.
  • Make critical design decisions to optimize financial procedures.
  • Evaluate analyses and improvement plans; provide written coaching to enhance logic and AI/human resource training.
  • Participate in meetings on budgets, growth, vendor relations, and compliance.
  • Ensure seamless large-scale financial operations such as tuition, audits, and taxes.
  • Oversee a large finance team and delegate challenging tasks, leading by example.
Basic Requirements:
  • Certification such as CPA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CFA, or an MBA.
  • Over 10 years in finance leadership roles (Finance Manager, Controller, CFO, etc.).
  • Proven experience in high-level finance positions with comprehensive responsibilities.
  • Thorough understanding of US GAAP and financial statements.
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP) in complex, multi-entity organizations.
  • Experience with 5+ external audits conducted with a Big 4 firm.
  • Excellent English communication skills, capable of engaging with senior leadership.
  • Residing within UTC-8 to UTC+3 time zones.
Nice-to-have:
  • Knowledge of U.S. K-12 education models.
  • Experience in developing finance automation or AI workflows.
  • Experience in multi-entity, multinational finance operations.
