(What the role is)
This is a 2-year contract position as a Lecturer, Biomedical Engineering in the School of Engineering.(What you will be working on)
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
Involvement in developing curriculum, facilitating student learning, conducting assessment and performing tasks for modules related to Biomedical Engineering.
Spearhead and identify new opportunities and collaboration with industry.
Undertake administrative tasks related to course management.
Work on industry or consultancy project to stay relevant in your profession.
Support student development in the area of education.
(What we are looking for)
Relevant qualifications in Biomedical Engineering, with at least 5 years of relevant industry experience in the area of medical technology, biomedical manufacturing or related.
Passionate about education and possess strong interest in nurturing, teaching, mentoring and interacting with students.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Self-driven, independent and possess readiness to work as a team.
