Network Security Engineer

Our client, a leading Global Cyber Security Distributor is recruiting for a Network Security Engineer (post sales) Responsibilities: Work closely with the sales and product teams to support solution design, implementation, and customer success Provide post-sales technical support, including deployment, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of network security solutions Act as the technical point of contact for customers during and after implementation Conduct system testing, acceptance, and documentation to ensure successful delivery Assist in resolving escalated technical issues and provide timely root-cause analysis Deliver knowledge transfer, technical training, and best-practice guidance to customers Perform any other duties as assigned Skills and Experience: Diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in the IT Security sector, with a technical background in network engineering, particularly in firewall implementation/deployment. Familiarity with security technologies, including firewalls, IDS/IPS Proficient in firewall solutions such as (specific firewalls, e.g., Cisco ASA, Palo Alto , Fortinet). Solid understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and core principles of network security. Experience with network monitoring and analysis tools. Strong knowledge of OSI model, TCP/IP model, network security, and related protocols. Palo Alto certified is a mandatory requirement. Excellent problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail. Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork.
