Roles & Responsibilities Own structuring on complex, bespoke financings Senior credit judgment in a regional role About Our Client Our client is a well-established regional financial institution with a strong presence across Asia Pacific, supporting sophisticated financing solutions for corporates, sponsor-backed transactions, and special situations. Backed by a stable balance sheet and deep regional relationships, the platform is actively growing its non-vanilla, bespoke financing business, offering exposure to high-value transactions across multiple jurisdictions and sectors. Job Description Leading and reviewing complex structured and bespoke financing transactions, including collateralised, share-pledge, cash-flow and special situation deals. Providing hands‑on credit analysis and deal structuring, from origination through approval and execution. Drafting and reviewing credit papers for senior approval forums and credit committees. Reviewing and negotiating loan and security documentation to ensure alignment with approved credit terms. Exercising independent credit judgment and providing constructive challenge where appropriate. The Successful Applicant Minimum 12 years of hands‑on credit experience with direct involvement in structuring complex financing transactions. Proven track record in bespoke / structured financing, such as collateralised, share‑pledge, cash‑flow or special situation deals. Strong credit judgment and structuring capability, with the ability to clearly articulate risks and propose practical mitigants. Regional or cross‑border deal exposure across Asia Pacific.
