Data Center Recruitment Expert | Connecting the best talents to leading organisations Our client, a data center operator is looking for a Finance Director to oversee financial operations, budgeting, and strategic planning for their data center business. The ideal candidate will have strong financial acumen, experience in the data center or real estate/infrastructure sector, and the ability to drive financial performance while ensuring compliance with local regulations. Key Responsibilities Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling for data center operations. Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights. Support strategic decision-making with data-driven financial recommendations. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Ensure adherence to tax regulations (GST, corporate tax) and liaise with auditors. Implement and maintain robust internal controls. Cost Management & Profitability Optimization Monitor CAPEX and OPEX for data center projects, ensuring cost efficiency. Track revenue streams (colocation, cloud services, power usage) and profitability. Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising operational integrity. Treasury & Cash Flow Management Manage cash flow, working capital, and financing needs. Oversee banking relationships, loans, and investment strategies. Stakeholder & Business Partnering Collaborate with senior management on business expansion and investment decisions. Work with operations and sales teams to evaluate pricing strategies and contracts. Present financial reports to stakeholders and investors. Process Improvement & Systems Drive automation and digital transformation in financial processes. Optimize ERP (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and financial tools for efficiency. Qualifications & Experience Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
