We will count on you to: Be the key person for larger clients or complex accounts, ensuring service levels meet or exceed expectations. Develop and implement strategic agendas and growth plans, driving sales and placement initiatives. Take accountability for strategic growth by developing and implementing strategies to realize corporate opportunities. Conduct research, evaluate trends, and understand customer perspectives to identify growth opportunities. Execute corporate development plans and strategies, working with sales, industry, and client executives to position the cargo product line in strategic and client discussions. Convene internal pre-meetings before renewal strategy meetings and assist with oversight of cargo placement activities and strategic market discussions. Lead larger clients or complex account inquiries, addressing escalated issues to ensure the best solutions are provided. Conduct needs analysis, develop broking plans in response to client needs, negotiate and evaluate quotes, and communicate broking plans to clients, brokers, and carriers. What you need to have: At least 10 years’ experience in broking and/or reinsurance field. Attained minimum Certificate in General Insurance (CGI) or equivalent; ANZIIF or ACII will be an advantage. Relevant specialty experience in marine cargo is preferred. What makes you stand out: Agility, openness, and accessibility. Operational excellence with excellent people management, time management, presentation, and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and written skills in English. Highly motivated team player with good interpersonal skills, able to collaborate proactively and work independently when required. Ability to build strong relationships and rapport with internal colleagues, clients, and insurers. Interest in aligning with and achieving the department’s goals.
