We’re looking for a high-caliber professional to join our team as Senior Vice President, Business Risk and Control Manager based in Singapore as part of the Global Investment Risk Assessment and Control Design team. The Citi Wealth business delivers a comprehensive wealth solution to clients across the wealth continuum, with integrated advice and execution, as well as traditional and alternative investments, managed account strategies, world-class research and investment guidance. Our Wealth business serves ultra-high-net-worth individuals and family offices through Citi Private Bank, and operates in the affluent and high-net-worth tiers of Citigold and Citigold Private Client, offering wealth management in the workplace through Citi Wealth.

• Act as primary GAU Regulatory Coverage Lead for Global Investment Assessment Unit for Private Bank and Consumer business in Asia. Candidate will also support EMEA CPB for regulatory change management, wherever required.
• Engage in close coordination with ICRM across Product & Client Segments on understanding regulatory changes, including gap analysis of regulatory changes versus current processes, communicating actions to business stakeholders and driving completion of actions before compliance dates.
• Proactively work with Investment Products teams (Capital Markets, Manage Investments, CIM) and Insurance in mapping regulations to current processes, conduct gap analysis and develop action plans to meet regulatory guidelines.
• Work with Product teams to maintain the regulatory inventory linkage in supporting controls in Citi’s systems so management can demonstrate adherence to laws and regulations through the Manager’s Control Assessment program.
• Operate in close partnership with 1st line of defense (Capital Markets, CIM and Manage Investment Product, Front Office Risk & Control leads) and 2nd line of defense (Independent Compliance Risk Management, Legal and Independent Operational Risk Management) to challenge and monitor adherence to laws, regulations and internal policies.
• Engage with ICQ Team in designing Issues and CAPs from Regulatory Change Management with control owners to mitigate risk and oversee timely completion.
• Ensure governance on overdue action plans from Reg Change Management including regular updates in governance forums locally and globally.
• Assist the business in reviewing Product Programs and Operational Manuals to identify risks, strengthen controls, and ensure sustainability of those controls through monitoring where applicable.
• Assess the effectiveness of existing controls through horizontal process-based reviews after internal or external events; identify gaps and work with the business to implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Global and country stakeholders on Carrom and Tier 1–3 regulation mapping to provide evidence for Second line closure.
• Develop strong relationships with Business, Operations & Technology and 2nd/3rd line of defense partners to reduce and mitigate regulatory risk; participate in ongoing enhancement of regulation controls and monitoring.

• University graduate with at least 8–10 years of experience with strong strategic, analytical and product management skills
• Exposure to 4–6 years of Risk, Control, Audit or Compliance roles
• Working knowledge of core end-to-end processes in the Consumer and Private Bank business
• Prior experience in Investment Products across Capital Markets and Manage Investments
• Experience with governance, risk and control management and engaging with 2nd/3rd lines of defense
• Understanding of new product development and 1st/2nd line of defense risk/control mechanisms
• Ability to translate detail to strategic level with effective executive presentation skills
• Comfortable operating with limited guidance and under significant time pressure
