About the Role Head of Touring – Asia – lead the expansion and strategic direction of TEG Touring’s live event portfolio across the Asia region. This newly‑created role offers an exciting opportunity to shape a global organisation’s leadership journey and leverage an established regional network to acquire, negotiate and execute large‑scale, world‑class live events. Responsibilities Asia Tour Acquisition & Deal‑Making Identify, pitch and secure high‑profile tours and artists targeted to key Asian territories (Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, Japan, South Korea, Thailand, Hong Kong, etc.), including standalone and appended tours for Australia/New Zealand. Develop commercial proposals and negotiate complex artist/agent deals tailored to regional regulatory and market nuances. Serve as the primary, trusted contact for global artist representatives, managers and agencies seeking to expand in the Asian touring market. Asia Market Strategy & Business Development Maintain senior‑level relationships with key talent agencies, managers, regional promoters and major Asian venues/partners. Act as TEG’s expert on Asia market trends, artist cycles and competitive landscape, translating audience insights into actionable acquisition strategies. Identify emerging opportunities and high‑potential talent aligned with TEG’s commercial objectives for growth across Asia. Commercial Strategy & Execution Drive P&L responsibility: commercial planning, budget development and financial forecasting for all Asia tours, ensuring viability and revenue optimisation. Collaborate with internal TEG teams (Ticketing, Production, Marketing) and external regional partners to ensure seamless execution and risk management across varying legal and logistical landscapes. Lead post‑tour reviews to optimise regional market strategy and future acquisitions. About You 10+ years of senior experience in the live entertainment/touring industry with a proven network of relationships across the Asian continent. Track record in tour acquisition, complex deal‑making and executing high‑profile artists within Asian regulatory frameworks. Exceptionally strong commercial acumen: regional budget development, financial analysis and revenue generation for multi‑territory tours. Fluency in relevant Asian languages (e.g., Mandarin, Japanese, Korean) or deep cultural competence is highly desirable. Strong negotiation skills and familiarity with international artist contracts and commercial agreements. Location Primary base is negotiable depending on the candidate’s existing Asian network and TEG’s strategic needs. Extensive travel across Asia is required.
