(Keppel Associate Programme 2026) Graduate Engineer, Energy Nexus
Job DescriptionKeppel is a global asset manager and operator with expertise in sustainability solutions across infrastructure, real estate, and connectivity. This role is within the Energy Nexus team in Keppel's Infrastructure Division, focusing on developing infrastructure solutions for Singapore's energy transition, including low carbon fuels such as hydrogen and ammonia, as well as carbon capture utilization & storage (CCUS).
Key Responsibilities- Support the Energy Nexus team on existing projects.
- Identify, define, and develop potential business opportunities in hydrogen, ammonia, and CCUS.
- Build market position by establishing and closing business relationships.
- Research industry trends and related events to identify innovative ideas.
- Analyze technical requirements, market strategies, and financials to screen potential deals.
- Evaluate technical options and optimize designs for better economics.
- Develop techno-economic models for business opportunities.
- Assess risks and potentials of business ventures.
- Negotiate and close new business deals, including contract development and compliance.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.
Beyond the 2-year program, successful candidates may join leadership programs at Keppel.
Job Requirements- Degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or equivalent.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Passion for organizational and people development.
- Ability to work independently and in teams.
- Good problem-solving skills and multitasking ability.
- Alignment with Keppel’s core values.
