Rare opening for a new member to join AAVC team. Our colleagues have been with AAVC since being established in 2008, with newer ones joining and expanding the team in , and . All would have been with AAVC for at least 3 years, with average of 8 years. As such, a good support team as you learn on the job.

Job Description & Requirements

This Position is for FULL TIME SINGAPORE CITIZEN and/or PR status ONLY due to quota for Visa Passes.

You will need to HOLD / RESTRAIN animal of all species.

Approximately 7hrs a day - Monday - Friday

Public Holiday / Weekends are approximately 4 hours work.

Up to 2 off days per week. So meaning your work hours can vary from 30 - 35hrs work/week.

Responsibilities
  • You'll be assisting the veterinary surgeon with animal restraint, treatment under guidance of the veterinarian (dressing of wound, shaving, washing, injections, oral medicating).
  • Animal handling tasks include cage cleaning, preparation of surgical equipment and subsequent cleaning and sterilization.
  • Assisting in the packing of medication, stock taking, answering telephone queries (booking of appointments), and replying emails.
  • Front Reception duties such as admission and discharging of patients, explaining the medication, collecting payment using NETS, cash register, Paynow or similar.
Qualifications
  • No formal certification/experience or education required as there will be ON THE JOB training.
  • Salary commensurate with qualification, experience and skills.
