Responsibilities As a Shift Engineer for the Joint Operation Centre, you are required to work on rotational shift work. You will oversee and manage the customer operation of the Joint Operation Centre and respond to leak reports and customer water-related feedback. Manage and track leak repairs and potential impact to customers. Reporting to management on leak severity/repair progress. Analyse key operational parameter trends and liaise with different stakeholders for a coordinated effort to manage leaks, poor water quality, poor pressure and no water incidents. Ensure optimum deployment of resources (e.g., service van, temporary supply). Work with JOC control room staff and oversee the service van crew and contractor teams on site. Work on assigned tasks/projects – tenders for works and procurement; improvement projects; slide preparation (may require meetings outside shift hours). Assist Department Quality Service team to ensure prompt follow up on department’s cases.
