Overview Director, Investment Advisor, PvB – Standard Chartered Singapore. This role involves providing investment advice in collaboration with Relationship Managers to meet client investment needs, enhance bank relevance, and drive share of wallet, revenues and client experience. Responsibilities Work closely with Relationship Managers to provide appropriate investment advice for client needs. Drive profitable growth by advising new and existing clients and empowering RMs to engage clients. Analyse investment suitability and review client portfolios; provide tailored portfolios and trading services. Produce account plans with RMs to develop client relationships and asset growth; deliver timely market and product analysis. Address multi-asset class requirements and ensure timely and accurate execution of client orders. Identify opportunities from the wider SCB group to benefit clients; act as a trusted investment advisor of choice. Host internal meetings/huddles for RMs as required. Key Processes & Risk / Governance Timely and accurate dealing of client orders; track and report on processes and transactions to clients. Adhere to client investment suitability standards and Compliance/regulatory requirements. Support operational risk management and safe, end-to-end delivery of business strategy. Ensure sales management and suitability processes are applied appropriately. Understand risk and control environment; address issues and ensure remedial actions where needed. Engage with audit findings and ensure feedback is acted upon. People & Risk Management Collaborate with support functions, business partners and product specialists to deliver One Bank and cross-sell opportunities. Provide effective client solutions and support risk management across responsibilities. Regulatory & Conduct Display exemplary conduct in line with the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct. Embed high ethics and regulatory compliance; uphold Conduct Principles and risk controls. Participate in Local Client Committee and other relevant committees; escalate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters. Key Stakeholders Relationship Managers, Team Leaders, Product Specialists, Client Service Managers, Front Office colleagues, Platform Managers Other Responsibilities Embed Group brand and values; perform other responsibilities as assigned; may involve multiple functions.
