VP/AVP, Team Lead, Operations (DUO), CBGO, Group COO (WD78448) Job Description Responsibilities Lead Risk Management & Controls: Identify operational risks, elevate Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) to management, and implement mitigation measures. Drive Process Re-engineering & Standardization: Challenge existing methods, foster innovation, and re-engineer reconciliation and investigation processes for standardization and improved controls. Utilize Data-Driven Insights & Analytics: Leverage internal and external data, apply analytics, and visualize insights to improve productivity, identify root causes, and achieve Straight Through Processing (STP). Foster Stakeholder Collaboration & Project Leadership: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand challenges and support the Head of Department in leading projects and process improvements. Champion Operational Excellence & Digitalization: Provide User Requirements and perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Live Verification for smooth operations, while supporting digitization and automation. Oversee Day-to-Day Operations: Manage daily operations of the Consumer Banking Operations team (Deposit & Unsecured lending product), ensuring efficient service delivery. Develop & Implement Operational Strategies: Create and implement operational strategies, policies, and procedures to optimize workflow, enhance productivity, and maintain compliance. Manage & Develop Team: Lead and develop a team of professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback. Requirements Experience in a similar operations leadership role, preferably in the banking or financial services industry. Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team, with a track record of driving process improvements and enhancing operational efficiency. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and provide data‑driven insights. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams. Proven experience in process re‑engineering and standardization, with a focus on improving productivity and service quality.
